We don’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach to training, so rest assured that you and your dog will both receive the guidance and training you need to have the confidence to build a lifelong bond!

Behavior Modification Training
Haruka, the Owner and Lead Trainer for Mischief Managed Canine Training, is also a board member and volunteer at PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving), a non-profit animal shelter sanctioned by CFAY in Yokouska, Japan. Here, she has seen first-hand how an anxious or aggressive dog can make for a very stressful situation where surrendering your dog may seem like the only solution. Haruka has experience working with multiple bite cases from anxious dogs and has many success stories of helping both the dog and the family learn how to overcome these behavioral problems so that surrender isn’t the only answer.
Working with dogs that have anxiety or aggression fueled behavioral issues is one of Haruka’s passions. While she enjoys working with all dogs, being able to keep dogs with their families by helping the dogs work through these behavioral issues is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling parts of being a dog trainer!
We offer multiple plans for Behavior Modification training from a Single Session to a 10 Session Plan, all customized to fit your dog!

Board & Train
We have special board & train programs available to puppies less than 8 months old!
In this program, your puppy will stay with us in our boarding area for 2 weeks at a time. After the first two weeks, the puppy will go home for at least 2 weeks, then return for more training! We offer a variety of options for how long your puppy will go through this program from 3 weeks to 6 weeks in length.
We have special board & train programs available to puppies less than 8 months old!

Group Classes
Group training classes can be a great way to develop unique skills for your dog in a fun, engaging environment! These classes offer you and your dog an opportunity to learn key skills with the added bonus of built-in socialization and new environment training. These are all offered in-person in facilities specially chosen to handle small to mid-sized groups of dogs and owners.
To ensure the safety of all our clients, No aggressive/reactive dogs or dogs who display resource guarding will be permitted to register for group courses.

- Basic Agility

While these commands may seem trivial, they are really essential for your dog’s safety and should be reinforced consistently over time. As your dog becomes more advanced, we will start to work with you and your dog to teach them more complex commands and tricks.
We understand obedience training is a lifelong process and requires ongoing practice and consistency. It is also essential to be patient, kind, and understanding with your dog during the training process. With the right training techniques and a positive attitude, we can help your dog become a well-behaved, happy companion.
Our Obedience Training packages are for all levels of experience! We offer:

- Head Boy/Girl (Some more advanced commands)
